Pays d’Oc IGP to sponsor the Wine Theatre

Posted on 8 January 2019Food & Drink

This year’s sponsor of the Wine Theatre is Pays d’Oc IGP; it might be one of the newest players on the French wine scene but its heritage stretches back thousands of years. Produced amid one of the country’s oldest wine producing landscapes, Pays d’Oc IGP blends the traditions and quality of the Old World, with the innovative production techniques often associated with New World wines.

The ‘IGP’ in Pays d’Oc IGP denotes its Protected Geographical Indication; it’s a label that guarantees the wine’s quality and origin. Choose a bottle of Pays d’Oc IGP and you can be sure it has its beginnings in the sun-baked soils of Languedoc-Roussillon in the South of France. Sweeping from the Pyrenées on the fringes of Spain to Provence, the region produces a large variety of grapes, giving the producers a broad canvas on which to create.

During the France Show 2019, Pays d’Oc IGP will be showcasing its Landmark Collection in the Wine Theatre. The collection features 19 of the best wines from Pays d’Oc IGP, chosen by a panel of international experts.
